Digital Art

Editorial Illustration

September 2022

I created this piece in response to a cultural landscape tour at the University of Wisconsin. The tour highlighted locations of Ho Chunk burial mounds that university buildings were built on top of and around. The piece is about the changing landscape of the area and how, unless you know what you’re looking for, cultural artifacts can be overlooked even when they’re right in front of you.

Logo Design

March 2023

This is a logo I developed for my personal use. During my master’s program, I used Illustrator to design brand content for various projects.

3D Modeling

April 2023

In early 2023, I focused on learning how to use 3D art modeling software like Blender and Autodesk Maya. As someone with a background in 3D modeling for engineering, this was a really fun exercise in using the medium for strictly creative purposes.

In 2019, I supplemented my income with commissioned artwork. I made this piece for a friend who wanted to surprise her Dad with an image of their childhood home after it was recently sold. The sun is setting on this house and leading the way for memories of a new one.

Just for Fun

2015 to Present

I’ve been creating digital art as a hobby since 2015. Here are two recent examples of the kind of work I create with only myself in mind. As someone who obsessed with color, I really enjoy incorporating bright colors and patterns into my artwork.
